1. The Strokes are coming out with the first single, "Under Cover of Darkness", from their upcoming March 22nd release "Angeles", and it is available today and for the following 48 hours to stream and/or download on their website. I am excited to hear it! I won't make any speculation, because then I can't be disappointed.2. I bought tickets last week to go see The Joy Formidable at The Abbey Bar in Harrisburg on Friday April 1st. We had tickets to see them there the end of last year but they had to cancel at the last minute due to illness so they are making it up to us now. Gotta love when bands come from afar to our little city of Harrisburg or even York or Messiah College which is five minutes from our house!
3. Speaking of Messiah...they sometimes have free shows, which they call B-Sides, on Wednesday nights in the student union building so tonight we are taking advantage of that and going to see Atlantic/Pacific. It is a perfect little getaway because the baby is in bed and Erin is there in case something happens. Plus, I mean, its FREE! Can't beat it! Here is a track called Patterns by Altantic/Pacific.
